Readers can use this blog to share program ideas, promote their programs, learn from others and stay informed about public access television. Join DATV as we celebrate the start of the summer festival season and learn which festivals you will see DATV's cameras at this summer. The event will be held Thursday, May 29th from 5:00 - 8:00pm at the Trolley Stop in the Oregon District. The event is free and open to the public and will feature food, prizes and highlights of the summer festivals.
The DATV Volunteer Recognition is scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd at 6pm at The Top of The Market. The Event will feature the awards ceremony, a buffet dinner and cash bar.
DATV will be hosting its 1st Annual Telethon on Thursday, March 6th from noon to midnight. The program will feature live entertainment and celebrity guests. More details will becoming soon.
Mark your calendars for the DATV Christmas Party. The event will be held on Friday, December 7th in the DATV studio. Look for your invitation in to arrive in November.
Join us this weekend as DATV covers two great local events. Friday, August 10th DATV's cameras will be at the annual German Picnic. Don't forget there is a new location! The Montgomery County Fairgrounds. The program starts at 5pm.
Special thanks to everyone who braved the rain to come out and help during the Celtic Festival. We had a great show despite the weather. Look for the shows to air again soon. Also, we have taken the truck in to have the leak fixed, so next time we should be a little dryer inside.
